Fall into books.

Writers ReadI just started Amy Coe’s “The Love She Left Behind” after that it’s going to be “Girl Waits With Gun” by Amy Stewart followed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s “Mycroft Holmes.” I’ve also got Louise Penny’s “The Nature of the Beast” and Thomas Blatt’s “From the Ashes of Sobibor: A Story of Survival.”
I read “Date-Onomics” for a freelance assignment – my interview with John Birger hasn’t yet run. I also read “The Global War on Morris” and look forward to interviewing Congressman Steve Israel about it early this week.
American Daredevil News
As most of you know I turned the manuscript in to my editor at Chicago Review Press in June. I’m waiting on the edits now but it looks like a June 2016 release. Just in time for summer vacation reading!
Author’s Advice
Some advice from Mark Twain who once said: “Substitute ‘damn’ every time you’re incline to write ‘very;’ your editor will delete it and the writing will be just as it should be.
So instead of writing very angry, write furious. Rather than very bright, try dazzling. Instead of very rude, how about vulgar? Trade very hot for scorching and perhaps very loved for adored.
